How far a bonus balance can take you: the £50 and £250 caps
Bonus funds themselves can never be withdrawn. They convert into real, withdrawable money once the wagering attached to them is met, and the amount that can convert is capped. While no deposit has been made, that cap is £50. Once you've funded your account, the cap matches your lifetime deposits up to a maximum of £250.

A quick worked example. Say a Daily Wheel spin gives you free spins and those spins return £62 into your bonus balance, with no deposit on the account yet. You clear the wagering, and £50 of that converts to real funds because of the unfunded cap. Deposit £100 first and the same clearance converts up to £100, since your cap tracks your lifetime deposits to the £250 ceiling.
Remaining bonus credit is surrendered when you cash out
When you withdraw, any bonus credit still sitting in your bonus balance is given up. It's worth finishing a wagering requirement before you request a payout rather than part-way through.
Clearing wagering: what counts and what resets it
Spins and bonus prizes carry wagering of 10x the total bonus awarded before it converts to cash. Only bonus wagers count towards that total: bets placed with your real money don't move the requirement at all, so playing through with cash won't shorten the job.
